X · 762 likes (@ShaykhSulaiman), 276 likes (@hehe_samir); same clip in Arabic posts; Misbar fact-check 9 Oct

Misleading

An attack on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport on Oct 8, 2026 is confirmed by multiple credible sources and Saudi authorities, and at least one Saudia aircraft was damaged. However the viral video claimed to 'show' aircraft being struck (the post's evidence) has been analysed by fact-checkers and found to be manipulated/composited and therefore does not credibly show the strike moment.

X · 15,857 likes (X syndication, 2026-10-10); Lead Stories fact check 9 Oct · resurfaced

Misleading

The video is authentic footage from March 6, 2026 showing a Southwest flight diverted to Atlanta and law enforcement removing a passenger; the October 9, 2026 post recycles that footage and falsely frames it as a new incident and falsely claims the removed passenger was a Muslim who threatened to blow up the plane. Did Trump say the US deserved the Nobel Peace Prize?

X · Wide pickup of the Syracuse rally Nobel complaint and the follow-up Truth Social rant: Mediaite, Daily Beast, Raw Story, Independent, TheWrap, Axios

Misleading

The video is authentic footage of President Trump at a Syracuse rally reacting to the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize announcement. The prize was awarded to Navanethem 'Navi' Pillay on Oct 9, 2026 (confirmed by the Nobel Committee and multiple outlets). Trump's description of the laureate as 'someone nobody has ever heard of' and the implication that the U.S. 'should have received' the prize are misleading or opinion-based.

Are lab-grown eggs federally approved?

Facebook · Facebook reels circulating in October (also August); copycat articles say the eggs are "quietly hitting Walmart and Target shelves" · resurfaced

True But

Precision‑fermented egg proteins (e.g., EVERY's OvoPro) do exist and were the subject of an FDA GRAS notification closed with 'no questions' on Oct 17, 2023; industry reporting from mid‑2026 says products containing those ingredients are in retail channels including Walmart and Target. The post is partly correct that such 'lab‑made' egg proteins are in U.S. products, but it misleadingly describes FDA action as an outright federal 'approval' of 'lab‑grown eggs' and uses sensational, imprecise language about production and labeling.

Misleading

A real Truth Social post by President Trump on Oct 8, 2026 urged Minnesotans to 'fight back' against Somali immigrants and offered federal help; the post is authentic and widely reported, but its claims that Somalis are 'taking over' Minnesota and that there is 'violence, murder, and mayhem all over the state' are inflammatory and misleading.
