Did Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Olena Zelenska hold Israeli passports?

Facebook · Mimikama (DE/AT) debunked it on 29 Sep and Maldita (ES) on 30 Sep. Maldita found Google SynthID watermarks on both images. The images first appeared in Aug and Sep 2026 and are spreading again now. · resurfaced

False

The pictured Israeli passports for Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Olena Zelenska are manipulated forgeries. Multiple fact-checking organisations and Ukraine's counter-disinformation centre have analysed and debunked these images; there is no credible evidence the documents are authentic.

What happened on Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv?

X · Top Google Trends item in IL (5000+), KE (1000+), ZA, NG; wall-to-wall coverage (ToI, JPost, Newsweek, Fox, Al Jazeera). Passenger post says a crew member attacked the pilot with a knife; right-wing outlets (Geller) headline 'Screaming Allah Akbar'.

True But

The post mixes verified and unverified elements: it correctly reports that Flydubai flight FZ1073 was diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia after a violent cockpit incident in which one pilot was reportedly stabbed and passengers and crew restrained an attacker. Specific technical claims (for example that the attacker "disabled the aircraft's systems") and the identification of a pictured passenger by name ('Yaniv') are not corroborated in major, reputable reporting.

Did the co-pilot stab the pilot on Flydubai flight?

X · Heidi Bachram post: 'video of the flight from Dubai plunging as the co-pilot appears to have tried to crash it'. Netanyahu said the pilot tried to crash the plane (Euronews/Newsweek); Flydubai says motive unclear, investigation underway (Newsweek).

True But

Contemporaneous reporting by major news organisations and statements by authorities confirm that a Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv on Sept. 30, 2026 experienced a violent cockpit incident in which one pilot stabbed the other and an apparent attempt to crash the plane occurred; the aircraft was diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia and landed safely. Passenger-count specifics (174 passengers, 27 children) appear in several local reports but are not uniformly given as an official manifest figure.

Did a video show a Houthi strike on Yanbu Industrial City?

X · About a dozen separate clips claimed as Houthi strikes on Riyadh, Yanbu, Jizan and Riyadh airport circulated 28-30 Sep amid a live escalation; Saudi autocomplete suggests 'الحوثي يقصف الرياض' and 'الحوثي يقصف مطار الرياض'.

Misleading

The video shows a real, large fire but is being circulated with a caption that claims it depicts a Houthi strike on Yanbu Industrial City; Arabic fact-checkers have flagged the clip as unrelated/out-of-context, so the post's caption is misleading.

What does Trump's unusual posture in the viral video indicate?

X · Several X accounts posted the clip claiming leg weakness or hyperextension; picked up by online news on 30 Sep. Matches ongoing Trump-health search demand.

Can't Verify

The video is authentic footage from a Sept. 29, 2026 White House driveway gaggle and shows the posture described. News outlets confirmed the event and quoted Trump's remarks about "superintelligence," but there is no independent medical confirmation that the posture is caused by a leg injury or indicates cognitive decline. The health-related interpretation in the caption is unsupported by available evidence.

Did passengers scream aboard Flydubai flight FZ1073?

X · Cedar News post: 'Video captures passengers screaming aboard Flydubai FZ1073'. Al Jazeera says posts carrying the 23-second clip got 'tens of thousands of views'. CNN Arabic, Al Jazeera and Coulisse ran fact-checks.

True

Passenger-shot video circulated on social media and was published by news outlets showing screaming and panic aboard flydubai flight FZ1073; independent reporting from AP, Reuters-linked feeds, Al Jazeera and others confirms an onboard altercation in which a pilot was reportedly stabbed and the flight diverted to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia on September 30, 2026.

Does this video show a mountain collapse in Nepal?

X · Hindi caption 'नेपाल में पहाड़ के ढहने का भयावह दृश्य'. Spread on X and Instagram; part of a wave of disputed disaster footage in the region (Nepal and Bihar floods, Rajasthan storms).

Can't Verify

The clip plausibly shows a real hillside collapse and mudflow, but I could not confirm that this particular video was filmed in Nepal. Multiple recent news items report landslides in Nepal, but no authoritative source was found that ties this exact footage to a Nepali location — the video's geographic attribution is therefore unsupported.

Did Jackie Chan die in 2026?

X · Black-and-white '1954-2026' image post by @kayoflagos001 reportedly passed 8M views (Free Press Journal) and carries a Community Note. Debunks from Gulf News, Times Now, IBTimes SG, Tribune PK and others on 9/29-30.

False

The image is a manipulated obituary-style graphic (real photo + overlaid dates) circulating as proof that Jackie Chan died in 2026; this is false. Multiple reputable outlets and fact-checkers (published Sep 29, 2026) report the posts are a hoax and there is no credible confirmation of his death.

Did Josh Hawley say he would charge Jack Smith with perjury?

X · Google Trends US 'Eric Schmitt' 500+; heavy coverage (Mediaite, Daily Beast, TPM, NBC). MAGA influencers (Benny Johnson, Hannity, Mark Levin producer) posted 'caught perjuring', some later deleted; Hawley posted 'I'd charge Jack Smith with perjury'.

True

The post accurately reproduces Senator Josh Hawley’s remarks from the September 29, 2026 Senate Judiciary Committee hearing; the image is an authentic hearing still and the quoted lines are confirmed in the televised transcript and contemporaneous press coverage. The statements are Hawley’s political opinions/calls for discipline, not independently established findings about Jack Smith.
